About Us

We're Ashay and Pranita — a couple from Pune who grew up with the taste of real, homemade ghee. The kind our grandmothers made. The kind you could smell from two rooms away.

Somewhere along the way, that taste disappeared from our kitchens. Store-bought ghee didn't come close. So we decided to bring it back — not just for our family, but for yours.

SUGRA was born from that simple desire: to make ghee the way it was always meant to be made. Pure. Honest. Slow.

We source our milk from indigenous Gir cows raised on green pastures, and craft every batch of ghee using the traditional Bilona method — hand-churned, slow-simmered, and made with patience. No preservatives, no shortcuts, no compromise.

Based out of Pune, Maharashtra, we started by sharing our ghee with families in our neighbourhood. The word spread — through kitchens, through trust, through taste. Today, we deliver our A2 Gir Cow Bilona Ghee and Premium Cow Ghee to families across India.

But our heart remains the same: small batches, personal attention, and the belief that food made with love always tastes better.
